I’ll be in Montreal for work Apr 12 - 16, and have one free night on the 12th. Any recommendations for a decent place to have a late (~9 PM) dinner? Not overly expensive. I’m staying at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth.

If you are looking for a BYO, I recommend La Colombe (554 Duluth East corner St-Hubert, 514 849-8844) Desserts tend to be very good (the chef’s a dessert and chocolate expert). Good stemware, including flutes, and red wine-friendly food. It is a small place however, so make a reservation.
