I’d like to ship some wine to our vacation condo in the Florida Keys for an upcoming trip (Mar. 27). I plan on bringing/sending/buying 12 bottles. There is no one down there to receive a package in advance, such as front desk staff, etc.
What’s the best option?
An alternative I am considering is seeking out a good vendor and take a brief detour on our drive from Ft. Lauderdale to Marathon. Currently, this seems to be my best option.
Buying it when you get there is likely the safest bet. You could also have it shipped to the condo your are staying at to arrive the day after you arrive.

After consideration, I’ve decided to seek out a good retailer, and purchase it down there. Now, looking for a good retailer in Fort Lauderdale/Miami area.
I’ve shopped at Wine Watch and Wine Warehouse. The former has some dusty old treasures, and the latter sells at discounted prices. Both have plenty of inventory to choose from.
