Tulum food and wine recs

Heading to Tulum… first time, any food and wine recs? Hartwood and Arca look good.

Thanks in advance!

I might be headed there this winter as well. Following …

I have only gone twice, both times for the Noma popup.

Hartwood was very good but very hard to get into I had to call in a favor from mutual friends in NYC.

The Chefs at Noma recommended Kitchen Table, it is a tad off the beat and path. It was also good.

This spot was incredible Taqueria Honorio Lechón Al Horno

Posada Margherita for Italian. Food won’t blow you away but it has a great setting right on the beach. Definitely recommend it. Casa Banana is a good option for grilled meat and fish and easier to get into than Hartwood and Arca. The Real Coconut has healthy breakfast and lunch options right on the beach - good coffee too. Enjoy!

Ive been to Tulum 10 times. Always like Hartwood - also Azulik is really worth going. Just to walk thru the amazing “Treehouse” is worth the trip. it is on the expensive side, but was a very memorable night.

Not sure if you’ve already gone, but https://www.atilatulum.com/ (Arca’s sister restaurant) is very good and one of the best wine spots on the beach road. The list skews natural.

I would also recommend https://www.wildtulum.com/ for a special dinner. Tasting menu is very good.
