hoping to go to paso in august for our anniversary. I know the wineries well, but wanted recs. on places to stay( previously we stayed at hotel cheval and loved it but it is not available). Also any restaurant recs.?
Il Cortile for a restaurant. Great Italian food from a guy from Texas (unexpected to me at least).
Check out The Piccolo. It’s the sister property of the Paso Robles Inn. https://www.thepiccolo.com/
Both hotels are downtown and close to all of the restaurants. The PR Inn is dated, but not bad. We stayed there years ago. The Piccolo opened in the last couple of years. We haven’t stayed there yet, but I’ve heard good things.
We tend to Airbnb it when we visit Paso.
