Reccos for Restaurants for Ireland and Iceland

We are going to Ireland and Iceland (Reykjavik and west and south—not the full ring) at the end of August. I have read prior threads. It seems like Patrick Guilbaud is somewhere we should go in Dublin. We are staying four nights in Dublin—any other recommendations for Dublin? It seems like Dill is somewhere to go in Reykjavik—any other restaurant reccos for Reykjavik or on the west and south routes. Thanks in advance.

The Dill guys’ pizza place in Reykjavik is good. Local microbrews and thin crust brick oven lobster pie…yum. And don’t miss the cinnamon rolls at Braud & Co.

We loved Grillmarket or Grillmarkorinn (traditional spelling) in Reykjavik.

I’ve been to Patrick Guilbaud twice. I would go back again.
We had a great meal at the Greenhouse as well.
Otherwise we ate in pubs etc and drank vats of beer.
Hope this helps.

In Dublin I liked Dax, L’Ecrevain, and Chapter One.

You have to try Icelandic lamb while you are there - the best in the world, and not exported. We loved Grillmarket.

Thanks for all of information.
