Our favorite flea market in Paris is out of business :(

Very sad to see this. They've held 2 antique shows and flea markets a year by the Bastille (May and November) since 1971. With construction in the area they tried to relocate but without success and are now out of business.

We happened upon the market by accident on our first trip to Paris and revisited a few years later. One of the most fun parts of our trips. I was checking the dates of the market for this year when I found this article:

There is an excellent flea market at the Marché aux Puces de Vanves (Sat & Sun). A lot less crowded than the Marché aux Puces de St-Ouen (Clignancourt).
