Quick TGV->CDG->Marriott question

Does anybody happen to know if you can easily get from the TGV station at CDG to the Marriott Charles de Galle Hotel? If yes, options? I think reading online that the TGV station is connected to Terminal 2 perhaps? All hotel shuttles pick up from Terminal 2? Much of a hike?

I’m thinking 25 euro taxi is worst case scenario?

TIA

i’d call the marriot and ask them for a pickup or shuttle.

Marriott should be able to get you. I made this “trek” in Feb. during a heavy snowstorm and just grabbed a taxi as it was late and I didn’t want to wait out in the snow. It was something like 30EU for about a sub 10min ride. Worth it that night, but in normal conditions, I would wait.

It is a bit of an odd hotel. I’d only stay there again only if I needed to be near the airport for an AM flight (and wanted the points).

Stay at the Sheraton. It’s 100m from the station.

That is precisely why we’re doing this. We’re taking the last TGV of the day from BDX to CDG and catching the only direct AA flight to DFW the next morning around 10-10:30 AM.

I was staying at the Marriott only because I have a certificate for I believe at Cat 4 hotel (Marriott qualifies at 4) and the Sheraton is a Cat 5 property. I could burn points if you think it is well worth it.

If it is a CAT 4, go for it. CAT 4’s are seemingly impossible to find in a major city in the US.I’d call the hotel ahead and see if they can do a TGV location pickup or pay the EU for a the taxi. The hotel isn’t bad, it just seems like it is 1-2 updates behind and one of the flat and squat layouts which can have you dragging bags forever while you find your room.

You’ll want the TGV exit north of the Sheraton, for hotel shuttles. Take the elevator up to level/niveau 5 from the TGV . There’re taxis and hotel shuttles. I’d recommend calling for a Marriott pickup.

From Paris, I prefer the RER to Terminal 2 Roissypole-Gare station, just north of there…an easy walk to a couple of hotels.

Thanks everybody. I appreciate the help.

There are a bunch of hotels right outside the terminal or along the tram. We stayed at Accor and could walk into the terminal that had a nice grocery store with wine and prepared meals. We ate in our room and enjoyed the hassle free experience of getting up the next morning and walking to our plane.
