We are traveling to Costa Rica in early July and will be staying in San Jose our last night prior to flying home. If you have any recs for dining it would be greatly appreciated. We will stay near the airport to catch an early AM flight, but would be happy to take a taxi downtown. We could go anything from casual to fine dining but will not have a jacket or tie on our trip. Mostly looking for delicious food if that is an option. TIA
There isn’t a lot near the airport and the drive into San Jose while only about 12 miles away can take 45 minutes depending on the time of day. I don’t know which hotel you are staying at but this place is only about 2 miles from the airport. I haven’t eaten at their newest location but if you like seafood, it was always reliable for us. Caveat, it has been two years but the Tripadvisor review suggest it is still good.
