I recently received a very nice brochure from Smithsonian offering some very attractive small group tours. Really piqued my interest! Has anyone here travelled with Smithsonian in the past? Any thoughts?

Well, we went with them to the late, unlamented USSR back in 1975–quite a good trip. My sense from talking to folks who’ve used them more recently is that they still do a good job.
