Restaurant recs for Boulder CO

Going to do one night in Boulder on our way to Telluride. I know there is a place up on of nearby mountain with a huge but expensive wine list and perhaps some great views. Interested in places you like?

You are thinking of the Flagstaff House. http://www.flagstaffhouse.com
Try also Frasca http://www.frascafoodandwine.com

Frasca hands down.

Black Cat is less fussy (than Flagstaff) and the food is well done (nearly everything comes from the chef’s farm including meats). The wine pairings aren’t necessarily a good value but there is some fun wine in the list. Frasca has the best wine program hands down in Boulder that isn’t Flagstaff House. Arcana is a bit hipster but tasty food and fun for Happy hour.

Thanks all!

Frasca. Have been four or five times. Awesome.

Frasca for sure. I’d drive up from Denver just for dinner, that’s how much I like it. Great wine problem, authentic Italian cuisine from a lesser known province (Fruili-Venezia Giulia, in the northeast of Italy).
