Grassl Glass / April 6th Update - DELIVERY TOMORROW

Warm up your credit cards and come on in, as here is where you will find all the BerserkerDay offers - open to EVERYONE who loves wine. Apologize to your spouse or significant other ahead of time. #BD12
Forum rules
Forum rules
Not 'Rules', necessarily, but here's how BerserkerDay goes:

I'll be launching offers in groups of 8-10, in increments of 30 minutes. Sponsors will stay pegged at the top of the forum all day, each new group of offers will come in at the top with them for their launch grouping, cycling into the 'normal' thread after their launch time has passed, with a new launch group posted atop the thread thereafter. Discussion is encouraged, as posting replies moves the thread up to the top of the grouping, whether that is during launch time group or the 'regular' forum.

Keep checking in every 30 minutes for new offers being posted, and keep scrolling down to see everything that has been launched throughout the timeframe in which you've been on the forum, which hopefully is ALL DAY

Order in for a few 1855s and a XL cloth! The free Liberte from the GR card pushed me to grab some this cycle. Looking forward to testing them out! Thanks Chris!

Love the glasses. May have to order more just as backups. Thought these would be super fragile and I would break several. Had them a year and have not broken one yet. This is the only glass I use at home and I bought some for my in-laws to use when I'm there.

Hi Chris, I got my order in before the carafe was corrected. I just didn't notice. If you can credit $10 great, if not we can figure something out -- these are still great prices

Great question. Yes. I think it will be at some point. Matthew and I will discuss it. As the product isn't coming in until May/June, my guidance would be to add it to your cart "buy" it for $0.00 and between then and now we'll have a better idea of the GRR store. You're under zero obligation to actually pay me for the case. We are really getting a good idea of what pre-orders and our first container should have in it and in what product mix.

Just added 4 Mineralite to our collection. This glass *rocks* for Champagne!

Also bought 4 of the 1855 because I'd love to find a handblown substitute for the Riedel red wine Ouverture, which I have been using for nearly all non-Pinot reds.

Case looks fantastic. It’s not tall enough to hold a bottle of wine, along with 3 glasses, right?

Sorry if I missed it somewhere, but what are the differences between the 2 series that make the Elemental 1/2 the price? They sounds very similar other than using a bit more glass. Does anyone have experience with both?

Alan
NOT tall enough to hold a bottle (well, a 375 would be fine) - but, you can pour into the carafe we sell and use the bouchon (stopper) to seal it and that will fit in a bay in the case.

Nick - Vigneron and Elemental are both mouth-blown. But, the Elemental line has more glass in it and is more industrial than the Vigneron. Think delicate vs. practical. A Vigneron 1855 glass will weigh between 100 and 110 grams at 23 CM whereas an Elemental Versatile (the wine glass in the line) will be 21.4CM at 140-150 grams.

The mass of the Elemental = durability. Period. They are very good at their job but are different in size, weight, and shape.

Love these stems! Ordered to round out a sets of 8 (Liberte and Cru) for primary home and sets of 4 for our mountain house - I really don't want to drink from other stems. Glad to have the stoppers for the decanter(s). Ordered two more of those as well. Also, ordered two 1855 - just because.

Thanks - Chris!
