Hi Everyone,

Here are the details for the upcoming Berserkerday.

START TIME:
2PM+
After reviewing all of the responses it looks like that would be the best start time for most of the group. It’s after lunch and early enough that our northern friends can get home at a reasonable time.

If you are coming from Sonoma/Napa then the 25th street exit (exit 439) which is just off the GG toll plaza on the far right. We are less than 10 minutes from the bridge.

GLASSES:
We have enough small Riedel white wine glasses that are good for tasting. We have a pretty good mix of other glasses but if you prefer a certain glass then I would plan on bringing your own.

THEME:
More less no theme but Joel had a great idea, which was to bring something you have discovered on Wineberserkers. One bottle per person is the usual formula.

We will probably do something like assorted cheese and meats plus all of the accouterments. In addition we will probably do fresh Polenta and meatballs in a rich tomato sauce. Perhaps some short ribs. Alan will be bringing a smoked pork butt done up on his BGE. Yea!

Cost should be no more than $10-15 per person. I will know a day or two in advance and will post an update on the forum. Just pay on arrival.

Todd says he is going to start posting at 8AM PST. Were flexible on timing depending on what everyone says here but thinking somewhere around 11AM.

I am in. If I am not traveling that day for work.

I may have a friend who might be interested. Will keep you updated.

Count me in! And if there is a theme for the wine, please let me know sooner rather than later so that I can plan for a trip to the cellar for something nice.
