I'll be later than I thought, as my son's tennis is now 5-7, then I swing by a local sushi joint and will pick up sushi. If you don't mind me eating sushi on screen, I'll grab a bottle of wine and join you guys around 7:30 Pacific, if you are still on

That was a fun gathering. Great to put some faces with names and show my wife I’m not making these Bersekrer people up.

2017 Patricia Green Freedom Hill Pommard
2018 Walter Scott Freedom Hill

I think we decided the Walter Scott had a slight edge currently but the Patricia Green didn’t seem to be quite ready for prime time.

I have Grassl on the way but that glass has some very fun memories attached so I reach for it often ... old Crate & Barrel from the early 90s actually purchased to drink a Nouveau Beaujolais with a date ... it felt unserious enough to be appropriate to the nouveau. Date and other glass long gone, glass remains.

That's an impressive setup to have in your local grocery store. I'd be eating a lot more dry aged beef if I had to stare at that display every week when I do grocery shopping

There's plenty of NYC butchers that do dry aged beef, but that's something I have to go buy specifically. It's a whole other thing to have a display case like that starring you in the face every time you grocery shop. Joshua must have a hell of a willpower to not load up his grocery cart with some dry aged beef every week

Fairway Markets here in NYC used to have that kind of setup in a couple of their stores. Pricing is a little different here but plenty of access to prime beef here in NYC. 50% off at Eataly this weekend!

Sounds good! You mean Sat April 3rd, right? Should we have breakout rooms?

Yes April 3rd. We can definitely have break out rooms if we have enough people join. It's pretty easy to set up even mid Zoom

For those wondering what the heck Peter is talking about, he had the great idea after the last Zoom to use Zoom's break out rooms function to let people join in on smaller groups so everyone can join in on conversation instead of having just one big one where you can't really hear from everyone

He probably meant 6pm PST / 9pm EST that’s the usual.

Thanks for the Zoom last night, everyone. Really enjoyed that! Good to see you all.

BTW I thought it was just the right size (five, or six counting Astrid's husband--didn't catch his name). The conversation got passed around so everyone was heard from.
