Durham / Chapel Hill enomatic tasting 3/16

#1 Post by T@ntina A » March 15th, 2019, 10:34 am

I'll be tasting through a couple of enomatics in Durham on Sat. 3/16 -probably start around 1pm
If anyone is interested in joining post here or send me a PM

I will hit Chapel Hill wine company for sure because I have some things to pick up but not sure where the other place will be yet. Maybe Wine authority. They have a couple of interesting things in their eno and are doing a New Zealand tasting from 12-3

Sorry Tantina but we're out of town this weekend. If you don't mind, report back on where you went and what you liked as I'd like to hit some of these tastings in the arean at some time.

The eno at wine authority had a variety of mostly blends that were $20 and under. One interesting wine was a Nebbiolo from NC and a Pinot noir from Portugal. Both were okay.
The choices in the machine weren't really to my liking this weekend, but I have been there in the past with some better selections.

Chapel Hill Wine Company had some great selections today - they had 14 reds and 7 whites ranging from $30-80 I liked the Condrieu, the Vouvray, their Santenay, and they had an Mt Eden Cab that was really good too.
