Could do either, but prefer the 25th.

What about Divino?

We want to support Sole, since they are always good to us and happy to see us. Food is as good or better there than Divino (IMO). If we have a larger group, Divino is great, but this will probably be a smaller group, so we can fit in Sole easily, particularly if we get them to arrange the table so there is access at both ends.

Well no one has said absolute no to the 18th...and only Gene said no to the 25th.
Can we all rally for the 18th?
I can be flexible and make it work.

Andy, if you can make it, let's do the '09 Foillard horizontal we talked about. Otherwise, save that for a future event.

Larry, I'll save one of the 09 3.14s for the horizontal, but let's target a future event. I'll make a call on the morning of the 18th depending on my jet lag, I'm flying back from Europe the night before, so don't bank on me...

Well, I've been outvoted so Sole it is. Can you see if they're ok with setting up the table to that it's parallel with the street like last time? That's a much more comfortable arrangement.

Also, Sole is the restaurant in San Mateo, right?

That guy is a hack. Stole my email address. But sometimes I get his drugs at my doctor's office.

I see there is a reception in SJ on the 24th. I'm gonna go and introduce myself to all the guests as Alan Rath [wow.gif]

I'm serious as well, I used to have to identify myself at Palo Alto Medical, because he was in their system as well (oops, HIPAA violation). How the heck can you pronounce the name differently?

I don't have these tools. I'd suggest having a backup plan (ie, wine that won't require this) if no one can fill this request.

I was going to cancel due to 2 other wine lunches this week (Margaux and Rousseau) but don’t want to be the third guy haha! See you tonight (my wines won’t be great in theme of Alan, but I will bring 2 bad ones that hopefully equal 1 decent).
