Hi Boston Crew,

I’m going to Troquet on Tuesday, August 7th, to experience the Summer Wine Sale (again). Anyone free/interested to join me? Reservation time is flexible at the moment.

ABOUT LAST NIGHT: We enjoyed these two lovely wines at Troquet on South's Summer Wine Sale (ongoing through end of August)

~1969 Château de Suronde Quarts de Chaume (the oldest QdC I've evah had!)
~1985 E. Guigal Côte-Rôtie Brune et Blonde (wonderfully umami)

Had to laugh that the QdC still had a $7.25 price tag on it lol. That must have been a fairly expensive wine back in the 70's. What did the 1970 1st Growths release at?

Unfortunately, Christine never shows up for her own offlines. neener

Looks like a great time and I’m appreciative that you held down the fort. Lesson Learned: don’t plan an offline the day you fly into a city.
