Our East Bay tasting group is doing a Mt Eden dinner in a few weeks, and we have a few open spots. One member of the group is a big fan of Mt Eden and is providing all the wines.
We’ll be trying two wines from each of their three major varieties - chardonnay, pinot and cabernet sauvignon. Each cuvee will have a young-ish wine and and older wine.
We’re also trying some NV wines from Martin Ray, the original owner of what is now Mt Eden. The La Montana wines were made back in the 60s, partly (probably mostly) from Mount Eden fruit.
When: Thu Feb 1st - 7:15pm at Camino in Oakland
Cost: $80 / person for wine, food cost is split equally (anticipated to be $80 - $100 / person)
