Winetasters of Toronto has a tasting of eight 2001 Sauternes on Wednesday Feb 14th (yes, really!), including Chs d’Yquem and Rieussec,
and also including a Barsac (Doisy Vedrines) for comparison.

I am really tempted, Richard, not least because a) I’m planning to run a table of these myself as part of WineFest V in 2020 and b) would love to have Bill’s take on it all. My main issue is that it is a day before I fly out for California weekend at FallTacular, but I will mull it over in next day or two
