You wouldn't happen to have the picture of Todd and me making fresh chocolate covered bacon in the chocolate fountain? I know someone took the photo but I have never seen it and some people deny that it actually occurred.
You holding the bowl of bacon:

No photos of the chocolate-covered bacon going into your mouth. That would not be kosher.

Seafoodfest for sure and outside chance for NY Berserkerfest as well!

I know it's ONLY 3 months away, so you NYers can't even consider doing any planning, but since we have our flight and hotel, and we're both planners, we're just gonna start planning stuff on our own. Hopefully there will be some time left for when some BerserkerFest plans actually formulate, and maybe we can show up, otherwise it's just gonna be a fun weekend in NYC for the two of us!!

We've purchased tickets for the Joyce Theater, Saturday for the 2pm matinee (we love the Joyce Theater dance performances - it's a great organization. Diane Elam joined us last time, as it's right around the corner from her previous home), if anyone would like to go as well:

Actually how about an Eataly walk? That would be a fun activity and it would only require an up-front commitment if the group wanted to have a sit-down meal at one of the restaurants.

I know this pizza place in Brooklyn. While we can't book a party with such short notice, I do have the private number; so I can order before we arrive... and maybe wait only 30 minutes for our pie to be ready. Just say the word.

Love the Joyce, Todd,

I try to go whenever I am in NYC (would like to make it for these events, but not yet sure it will be possible). FWIW, it used to be the Elgin, but movie theater in NYC, imho, back in the day.

Ok, it's time to plan this thing. I'm already planning an event in JULY and this one is only 2 months away. I know you folks are New Yorkers, but let's get something going, ok? I doubt Sat evening of the event we can group text each other to decide where we're eating...

OK, Let's see. A place that will accommodate 60-80 over-imbibing hedonists with more money than they know what to do with . . . let me give it some thought . . . Ok. I have the solution. I nominate Abood and Frokic to figure it out.

You already claimed Sunday, Jay - http://www.wineberserkers.com/forum/vie ... 2#p1958642 - it's the Saturday night 'main event' that apparently won't get planned until May 24
OK, Let's see. A place that will accommodate 60-80 over-imbibing hedonists with more money than they know what to do with . . . let me give it some thought . . . Ok. I have the solution. I nominate Abood and Frokic to figure it out.
I nominate Brad Kane and Leo for that job. I'm traveling way too much to do a good job on this.
Guess what? I'm ITB-> Vinotas Selections

After speaking with Todd and Leo, yes, we have a place. The usual. I'll post more details this weekend, but I have to go drink some Chenin now. [cheers.gif]

OK. I will start a Sunday in the Burbs thread. What number are we giving this Berserkerfest? I think our last one was #7 because I didn't remember what number we were up to after BF 2.5 and Todd outlawed fractions.
Yes, that's a DM of 1978 Mouton!

The fractions were for multiples in the same year like 2.5 had. We're at 8 or 9, for sure...
Apparently I'm lazy, have a narrow agenda, and offer little in the way of content and substance (RMP) (and have a "penchant for gossip" -KBI)

Jay very gracious of you. I have a hundred or so tasting size glasses that I would gladly lend to you/the event at your house as well as bring a well as well aged bottle or two and perhaps a set of port tongs. As for Saturday night I am guessing PDH and this would be number 4 or 5 beserkerfest I would be attending if not mistaken.
