I emailed Wienbau Paetra today to ask about east coast shipping and Bill responded from UPS! You should get tracking info soon.

My east coast order went out yesterday (4/9)

No email from UPS, Bill was kind enough to forward me the tracking info.

Mine finally arrived, after FIVE attempts by UPS! Ugh. Hoping no wine was cooked in that long process...and I thought they gave up after 2

I received notice today from UPS, with expected delivery tomorrow. I am assuming it's from Paetra because I don't have any other outstanding wine shipments originating in OR.

That is the correct one. Mine is scheduled for Wednesday delivery.

Earlier in the shipping season, I received a Fedex notice from Marc Simon of DV8.
I thought a mistake had been made, so went to the BD 10 thread so I could get Marc's contact info to advise him of the mistake.

It was then that I saw I had ordered a six pack of his whites....... Oops! Add that to my BD 10 haul!! [wow.gif] newhere blush

Bill, been trying to call/email you for a few weeks now regarding my order but haven’t gotten any responses back. Need to confirm that the order is correct based on the charges I got on my cc. Please let me know the best way we can chat.

It seems that the UPS store that I ship through hasn't sent tracking numbers to everyone. It's a small store and it was a big drop of wine, so I can only assume that it was overwhelming for them. My sincere apologies for that. Please reach out if you need a tracking number. I think all of the wine is supposed to reach it's destination by thursday of theis week (the 18th). I dropped the wine off three weeks ago fyi.

Thanks again and please reach out with any questions by phone or email. bill@paetrawine.com

Thanks!

Little bit disappointed to have received some incorrect bottles, was looking forward to the Gewurz and the Orange Riesling. Maybe next year....

Hey Neighbor! (Macedonia here)
I thought about that but the Rieslings I received instead are of equal value and I know he said he was losing money on shipping. Given the deep discount/low profit margin involved, I will just enjoy what was sent to me but at the same time wanted to post as a reminder for others to check what they receive. I am sometimes lax about doing so myself, especially knowing that anything just delivered will probably sit for awhile as I have a basement full of wine!

Mine finally arrived, after multiple days of 95+ temps here. If I would have known they'd be shipped this late, I wouldn't have ordered. Opened 2 different bottles and both were drain pours. :(

I'm so sorry about that. I didn't anticipate the wines taking so long to Ship from UPS, nor the quick rise in temps down there. Please PM me and I'll make it right.

Heat damage. Corks were leaking a bit and the wine had a definite "cooked" taste. Like I said, during the delivery time frame, temps were very high here. I do appreciate Bill's response to the situation.

Hi Bill, I have been a bit remiss about picking up my wines. Now I injured my back slepping some boxes of tile, so as soon as I am able I will take a drive out on a pick up run and pay some visits.
