COMMERCE CORNER NON-PAYERS/NON-SENDERS STICKY!!

#1 Post by Todd F r e n c h »

Folks, while we already have a well-loved 'Feedback' sub forum for Commerce Corner, it was suggested that we include a sticky here atop Commerce Corner specifically for NON-payers or NON-senders in any transaction. Please post your issue here, and if you get paid, eventually, consider removing the name from your post (wholly up to you)

Maybe NON-SENDERS, too?

Does this mean that Commerce Corner Feedback can no longer be relied on for "wine board trash"? [hitsfan.gif]

(In fairness, of course, the percentage of such threads was quite small.)

Adrian Walsh, NON-sender after a year of back and forth BS. What I get from him is: "The wines are in Napa, no the wines are in New York, no the wines are in Europe." Multiple promises to ship overnight, but no action. Now, he will not return my messages. My patience has run out so I'm outing him on this board. Money was wired to him on July 21, 2013 with the plan so ship in the fall when the temps dropped, but he never followed thru after many exchanges.

Never a buyer from Adrian, but many times a seller and all transactions have gone extremely smooth. Sorry for the experience.

An update for everyone. Adrian has refunded my money as of today. I never received the wines that were paid for, so some caution is advised. I'm not sure exactly what the issue was, and communication was sporadic at times, but he did "make me whole" in the end.

Should someone who agreed to a trade and then disappeared be mentioned, or is this strictly for cash changing hands?

I've been chasing Adrian for payment or an alternate solution for a deal we made close to 6 months ago and just received an email today from him looking to buy more wine. In years past, Adrian has normally paid in a reasonable amount of time, but the endless excuses and lack of response since committing to buy items in March 2016 are discouraging and beyond frustrating. No payments, no replies to email, very slow response to phone/text. Hope to work it out and this is just a one time thing but my patience expired long ago.

Jay Carroll owes me 6 bottles of Rhys, purchased in December 2016, and he has not shipped the wine after numerous text messages, email exchanges and phone messages. He has promised to ship on 3 separate occasions, but never followed through. Now it's too warm to ship, and I am tired of chasing him down, so at this point I have requested a refund via PayPal (which per usual has gotten no response). Buyers beware of this deadbeat.

Has anyone heard from or seen Joe Cuenco or Peter Czyryca lately? It looks like neither of them has logged into the boards in quite some time. I have a couple of old (like years) purchases that were never shipped (not entirely on them -- we agreed to hold for cooler weather and all parties forgot to follow up). I'd very much like to get in touch with them to see what we can do.
