The latest vintages - 2019 for the CC and 2018 CCR - are now available on VDLT Direct. Your wine will be shipped from Montefioralle to anywhere in the Continental US, in usually just a few weeks. (Orders to European addresses can be arranged in most cases)
The 2016 Riserva made plenty of friends when we offered it View Topic. Our offering of the 2017 got a bit too $$$, but we’ve managed to sharpen pricing again (just $40 + the modest shipping charge) for the 2018 Chianti Classico Riserva. Winemaker Lorenzo Siena thinks this is an outstanding vintage. I was deeply impressed by the 2018. It needs some time though. I don’t recall the 2016 being this structured and intense at this point.
The 2019 Chianti Classico (another vintage Lorenzo is jazzed about) has an incredible nose. It also could use at least 6 months to fill out. At $25+, it’s an awful lot of Chianti.
