Somebody asked me what 1987s I had for a birth year wine.

I found the Meo Camuzet Nuits Saint Georges Murgers. I priced it, and because of the Jayer provenance (confirmed by John Gilman) it is selling north of $1500. The bottle looks perfect, and since it is not something I knew I had, it seems to be a perfect wine to raise some money for this incredible charity.

So for anybody wanting to taste a genuine Jayer wine, and give to a good cause, you can do so for $1000. Shipping is out of Westchester, and is the buyer’s responsibility, but the good news is that you will get the deduction.
