Spent some time trying to figure out where the grapes came from...closest I can come is Miner Family from price point and having all 3 varieties. But the alcohol % and rest doesn't match.

Im thinking all the stagecoach wines are from the same winery.
Emails states as such I thought
My email said "Stagecoach vineyard derived-releases" not same winery. So its possible they are made by different wineries.

Miner seems to fit the best of the 3 price wise if CH’s “compare at” estimate is on target.

My attention to detail is clearly lacking.

Freemark doesn't appear to make a Cab Franc from Stagecoach, so that leaves Krupp or Miner.

I’ve never tried Miner, and have only had one Krupp before. Any insights from the group on style, quality, value etc?

It's likely Miner based on the price and the years they have put out Cab, Cab Franc, and Merlot. The others just don't fit.

Only one that took longer (i think) was offer #1 and that had 6666 cases!

That’s one hell of an allocation.

Alcohol isn’t necessarily accurate on the label. IIRC because labels need to be submitted well in advance of most wineries final production, it’s often off by up to something like 1%. Perhaps Cameron has come along late in the game enough where the ACTUAL % can be measured and added to the label?

There are about 80 wineries that get fruit from Stagecoach. Now that it’s owned by Gallo maybe that counts as one even though multiple brands (Louis Martini, Orin Swift)? Jackson Family would source fruit there too (Freemark Abbey, others).

If I read it correctly, 3 of the first 5 are from a particular winery. That doesn’t necessarily mean all 3 Stagecoach-derived are from the same winery, although they can be...

Yah I was going to mention that! The wording isn't clear that the 3 stagecoach are all the same!

But...we know one is Merlot and that same Winery was from 2 other offers. And not a lot of Merlot Stagecoach which is where the search began. I'm guessing all 3 from Stagecoach.

OG 6 is out, $13/btl. Napa cab blend from various areas. Rose, pinot, chard and sav blanc coming up in future offers.

Ive bought 5 of the 6 OGs. Looking forward to giving them a test drive.

"Priced at $70+/bottle and composed primarily of Oakville and Rutherford benchland fruit with a bit of Howell Mountain and Calistoga to round out the blend, this 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the better values in under $100 Napa Cabernet to begin with...at $156/case or $13/bottle it is simply stunning."

Worst case you can make sangria for a ton of people. I skipped the cab franc and went for the merlot.

Noting my order numbers between this offer and the prior one (i orderes both within a few minutes of release) there were likely between 500 and 1000 cases of the merlot. No wonder they go so fast

i think all the offers besides #1 were much smaller. #1 was 6666 cases! i think all the rest prob under 1000.
