Will you sponsor my ride for $10? Benefit in support of Cancer Research. Please read.

BERSERKERS!

This coming Sunday I will be participating in Cycle for Survival – a team cycling event in support of research on rare cancers at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center here in NYC. Since its founding in 2007, Cycle for Survival has raised over $2 Million for rare cancer research. Proceeds from the first two Cycle for Survival events funded a clinical trial that has led to a new chemotherapy regimen that proven more effective in shrinking tumors in patients with some forms of cancer.

As you may know, my family has been affected by various cancers over the years and my mother is still battling lung cancer.

I’m sure you too have loved ones or know someone close to you in the same situation.

I’m writing you today to ask for your sponsorship of $10.

Of course, anything you can give is greatly appreciated and will go towards a powerful cause.

You can can sponsor me right here: http://bit.ly/7fOlvl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Click on the DONATE NOW button.

It takes less than a minute!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for your support.

Sincerely,

Yaacov

P.S. As an added incentive, my largest sponsor will get a great bottle of wine!! (if you want to donate anonymously, please email me directly after you’ve donated).

keep it coming.

I wanted to thank all of you so much for supporting my Cycle for Survival ride this past Sunday. I am truly overwhelmed by your generosity.

The event itself was a massive spectacle of energy and emotion – and with your help, we exceeded our goal by raising over $2.2 Million for rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering! You should feel very proud to be a part of it.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hey Yaacov,

Sorry I missed this before your ride, but I threw my donation on just now.

I lost my mom to an exceedingly rare cancer (1 in 1 million cases of adrenal gland cancer are basically untreatable–she had that one). Hope your ride went well.

Ken

Ken - was just about to PM you and saw this. Thank you so much – very generous and thoughtful.

The ride was amazing and hopefully we can soon be able to avoid or treat the cancer that took your mother.

Thanks again!
