Large Multi-Producer Burgundy Offering

#1 Post by Tom K. » November 16th, 2019, 5:49 am

Sharpen your pencils, you can do this, it's not too long of a list but deals are to be found and made. I applied a multiplier to my cost here so there might be some wiggle room on the prices below, particularly if you buy 6+.

These are ALL PRE-TARIFF prices, so the time is now to buy as prices will be going up even more than they always do for Burgundy.

I can't really promise what will happen to these prices in 2020, but I can say these wines were purchased before 10/25, and I would recommend taking full advantage and ship soon before winter weather takes full hold and we go into winter storage mode!

Offer and Buy Here: https://mailchi.mp/winesolutions/burgundynovoffer

Bruno Clavelier - Basically all old vines at this Domaine. Just beautiful wines from great sites. secret is that VDT Blanc, just outside of permitted zone for chardonnay, so a great white Burgundy that is labeled as Vin de Table.
2017 Vin de Table Blanc, "Les Glapigny" (Chardonnay) $32
2017 Corton Le Rognet, Vieilles Vignes $250
2017 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru, Les Beaux Monts, Vieilles Vignes $230
2017 Vosne-Romanee, La Combe Brulee $140

Genot-Boulanger - The estate has taken off since Guillaume Lavolee took over in 2008. While the whites seem to be on every great list in the country, that only makes the reds a sedret to those who know.
2017 Meursault Meix Chavaux $82
2017 Meursault 1er Cru Boucheres $115
2017 Mercurey 1er Cru Sazenay $47
2017 Pommard Vieilles Vignes   $66

La Combe Grisard - Quiet little project with the wines made by Jeremy Seysses. Perfect use of whole clusters, as you would expect.
2016 Gevrey-Chambertin "Champ Franc" $64

Rodolphe Demougeot - Reds that are just beautiful, whites that are obviously delicious as soon as you get them.
2016 Bourgogne Blanc $38
2016 Meursault $78
2016 Pommard, Vignots Rouge

Domaine Morey-Coffinet - Legendary Domaine, these are all estate wines.

2017 Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru, Cailleret $195

If you have read this deep into the email, I will treat you with this little nugget. We sold out of the 2016 Comtes Lafon, but I had held back some 2015. So if you need some Meursault from one of the very best winemakers in the world...
