Barca Velha - Rare Back Vintage Mags plus Meao 2011

Barca Velha is the rarest of the top Portuguese wines, in Brazil the wines go for un-Godly sums of money. In the US there are collectors that treasure these wines and while I am not sure if any of them ever scope out the board here I have a line on a few vintages, one in magnum. I figured there are always lurkers here.

Plus I also have the new Barca Velha, Quinta do Vale Meao 2011 that was the original vineyard source for the Barca Velha wines back before that property was sold by Sopgrape to the Olazabal family in the 90s that helped create Barca Velha in the first place when the grandfather of that family headed up that project retired from Sogrape - nice retirement gift/severance/opportunity!

Anyways, here are the wines:

• 2 bottles - Barca Velha 1995 (1,5L) $1,400 each
• 3 bottles - Reserva Ferreirinha 2001 (750ml) $225
• 3 bottles - Barca Velha 2004 (750ml) $600
• 9 bottles - Quinta do Vale Meão 2011 (750ml) $250
