How good are the BURGUNDY 2005s ?

Much ado about the 2005 Burgundy vintage when it appeared on the market. A Meadows considered the vintage to be among the greatest ever. 15 years later I wondered what the current opinion is. A friend of mine who recently tasted an ECHEZEAUX by Daniel Bocquenet (being a fan of the domaine) considered the wine to be "atypical": too heavy, too much of everything.....Since I haven't touched the Bocquenet wines yet I did not put up a discussion. What about you lot? Any experiences with this much hyped vintage? Or is it too soon to pass judgement?

Sure don't know what I'm going for, but I'm gonna go for it, for sure.
