WTB older Zin's

#1 Post by Alan Eden » June 10th, 2019, 8:04 pm

If anyone has had a taste shift and is no longer into zin's in love to buy a couple of cases of older wine. Does not have to be really old just say earlier than 2013. Open to any of the major producers such as Ridge, Turley, Bedrock etc but i would not want a large chunk of the same bottling of anything.

Would also trade for some collectible Bourbon

Scherrer does library releases from time to time. I would get on their email list. Their zins age really well.

Here are a couple of places to start your search. The SF Chronicle article it will send you toward some of the best Zinfandel vineyards in California. Then hit Wine Searcher and buy those wines. The HVS website is a treasure trove of information on old vine properties, a large amount are Zinfandel. And you could always attend this... https://wineberserkers.com/forum/viewto ... 8&t=161200 Might not be all Zin's, but most will be.
