BOSTON FIRE SALE OVER - THERE WILL BE A SAN FRANCISCO SEQUEL!

#1 Post by Richard Malloy » February 26th, 2019, 3:47 pm

THERE WILL BE A SEQUEL, THE WORKING TITLE IS "SAN FRANCISCO FIRE SALE - THIS TIME WITH STYRO SHIPPERS!"

That's right, folks. We've decided to bring everything left with us and conduct a 2 week fire sale. Great for local SF beserkers, but yes I will be shipping this time! There will be many more bottles, many more great deals, cause the boy's gotta downsize and get those relocation funds! I'll post as soon as the wine arrives safely in SF.

Finally, thanks to everyone who participated - you meet the nicest people around here!

Hi Jfertitta, I accept Paypal.

Everybody else, I'd love to ship outside of Mass as I've had a number of requests, but I'm having trouble sourcing styro shippers at something like amazon prime delivery speed (time is truly of the essence). Any suggestions?

For anyone local, get in touch with me if you'd like to drop by and check out some wines. I have non styro boxes and 6-bottle tote bags here (cash or paypal would work!), and I'll be available most of the week all day. I'm downtown right next to Symphony Hall.

Mark bought a lot of the Huet, but I still have the 2010 secs and demi-sec -- nothing wrong with 2011, but 2010 is definitely Noel Pinguet's last all-time great vintage!

I may end up taking some to sell in SF ... might even be able to snag some styro shippers out there once I get a chance to breathe ...

Getting some PMs (thanks for interest!), so let me give a timeline. My wife and I have been here 1 day with a million details to attend to. Furniture arriving in 10 days or so, wine shipper on different schedule, not yet picked up, but expecting a similar time frame. Once here and I confirm no problems in shipping (can’t wait to spot test!), I’ll post the new list. The list will have similar stuff as last one but with some higher end bottles, possibly more Bartolo, Cappellano, Burlotto Monvigliero, older to slightly older Rhys, etc. Just give me a week and a half or so and I’ll have it up!
