I have 4 bottles of EMH Black Cat cabernet left from 6 that I bought through an auction on KL Wines in late 2015 (discussion EMH Black Cat - WINE TALK - WineBerserkers) . My wife and I enjoyed one bottle in mid 2017 and one earlier this year. The wine was excellent (I think Merrill considers 2009 among her favorites).
The wines are in a cellar; it’s dark and temperature is constant around 60 degrees.
Would love to trade for high-end bordeaux or sauternes (our newest loves). Frankly, I have a TON of cabernet and would like to diversify, and people here appreciate Merrill and her wines immensely, so maybe this will work. If you’re interested, send me a note. Note that I am not interested in selling the wine. I’m looking to get something special for something special. Maybe it works out, maybe not.
