By old school/traditional, I’m mean age worthy, non fruit bombs that are more elegance than power. Producers/wines I enjoy include, but not limited to:

Montelena estate cab
Ridge Monte bello
Togni
Mayacamas Cab
Dominus
Anderson conn valley reserve cab and eloge
Laurel Glenn (the older stuff)
Dunn Howell mountain
Heinz MV
Corison
