“Imparato’s 2005 Montevetrano is a medium-bodied, somewhat slender version of this wine. It offers a compelling array of crushed flowers, spices, graphite, cracked pepper and jammy blackberries. Today it comes across as less complex than the 2004, but it still very tightly wound and may merit a higher score in the future. Montevetrano is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Aglianico.”-Antonio Galloni
