Keating Wines 6-packs, 40% and 50% off... My BD Grand Finale

#1 Post by Eric Keating » January 25th, 2018, 9:36 pm

I'm grateful to be taking part in another (and my final) BerserkerDay. This will be one of the last chances to buy wine directly from me. Except for the port, I chose wines with 10 cases or fewer remaining. It has been a great event over the years. I hope the variety of wines being offered today have been living up to everyone's expectations.

This year, Keating Wines is offering 6-pack lots of wines that are nearly sold out. All offers have capacity ranging from two to six cases total. Here is the summary of the main details:
- All wines are in lots of 6
- All are offered at 40% off (50% for Wine Club members)
- Flat rate shipping cost of $25, no matter where you live or how many six packs you purchase
- Wines will ship out the week of March 5th (unless you request otherwise, or there are unusual weather patterns)

Here are the wines and the amounts available:
2011 Keating Petite Sirah, Rockpile, $228 $136.80... 4 available
2012 Keating 'Finvarra' Red Wine, Napa (GIII)/Sonoma, $330 $198... 8 available
2012 Keating 'Montecillo' Cabernet Sauvignon, Moon Mountain District, $288 $172.80... 10 available
2013 Keating 'Encomium' Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa/Sonoma (one barrel Georges III, one barrel Montecillo), $420 $252... 10 available
2013 Keating 'Buchignani' Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley, $210 $126... 4 available
2014 Keating 'Buchignani' Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley, $210 $126... 8 available
2014 Keating Malbec, Rockpile, $252 $151.20... 8 available
2014 Keating 'Buchignani' Zinfandel Dessert Wine (375 mL), Dry Creek Valley, $150 $90... 12 available
2015 Keating 'Elsbree' Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, $288 $172.80... 10 available

Detailed descriptions of each wine are accessible in the shopping cart.

I no longer make wine. 2015 was my last vintage. Started a family and will be moving on to a new, more normal life once my inventory is depleted. That makes BerserkerDay one of the last opportunities to purchase my wine, at least directly from me. I guess the writing is already on the wall when I closed my tasting room last December, but an official announcement will be made to my mailing list once it gets closer to the end, in order to thank them for all of their support and friendship over the years.

Congrats on starting a family! That's fantastic!
Do you know where you will be sending the remainder of your wines after this?

Thanks!

I have some set aside for Wine Club, I'll always have a few choices on my website, and will sell some to small distribution channels. The rest is for me!

A women pouring at a tasting event once said to me that it was good she really liked the wine...because she gets to consume whatever is not sold.

Eric, we bought your G3 Cab before and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sorry you are getting out of the business. You will have some really nice wines to enjoy in the future!

Bought 12 bottles of the Malbec (the Rockpile Malbecs are fantastic), 6 bottles of the Petite Sirah, 6 bottles of the Finvarra, 6 bottles of the Cab, and 6 bottles of the Encomium.

Truly going to miss my Keating wine deliveries. Some of the best wine I've ever had.
