It's insane.

I think last year we were steady around 750-800 ish? Can't remember.

Only ONE MORE GROUP to launch!!! Then perhaps I can take some time to check stuff out.

Remember, auctions open at noon, but wait until you have consumed a ton of wine before you bid, ok? flirtysmile

Auctions end at 8pm Pacific

I'll go ahead and set the baseline, which I hope many will surpass. I purchased a total of 59 bottles 65 bottles from the following nine producers:

Briceland
Cabot
Franny Beck
Jean Edwards
Paetra
Patricia Green
Riverain
Sandler
Vincent

Not up to my levels for the past two years, but I think it is still respectable.

30 plus 6 stems which is huge for me. If I could mix 'n match some other packs I'd drop in for more but I gotta call it.

Very nice offers everyone. Had to make some tough choices.

That said, yeah, 104 bottles across 18 offers.

I'm drinking it off with a Mischief and Mayhem and Netflix

Edit: Getting all of it into CT was a bitch, however that was my New Years Resolution after getting all my bottles aligned to the right bins.

Getting it into cellartracker was a challenge (I added 4 new wines - I'm looking at you Artem).

Getting it into the cellar is going to be the bitch.

Yup, very true, then there is that. Moving bins around sucks on top of it.

Plus, I will have to grease the Mrs. with some jewelry or similar for being home to collect all the packages that arrive. She's going to love that [swoon.gif]

Tapping out at 35 bottles across 6 wineries. So many good deals I'm celebrating with a 2011 Williams Selyem Rochioli that I "stole" on auction for $55 a bottle.
Life's too short to drink bad wine.

Can anybody beat Korzenko??

104 bottles???

Bryan, isn't this your first BerserkerDay? I think you might win BD ROTY (Rookie of the Year)!

Any first-timers with more purchases than 35 bottles??

Pete beat me out, not sure of his final tally. I put a tourniquet on 110, Pete kept going. God bless him.

Oh wow, he did 109! If he wins Champ, I called it early yesterday morning, I think...or was it this morning?? I had him pegged for Champ, but I think both you guys did better than Mike did last year - what was your count last year, Mike?

101 last year, 119 the year before. I’m relieved to see at least two people went more crazy than me.

Well, Rich, you aren't far behind, bud! Definitely Mike Evans and Sheila Fruman deserve to be in the Hall Of Fame pretty soon

Thanks, that's both an honor and frightening to my credit card company lol. To be completely honest, I had no idea there was an award/badge or that was even tracked. I've been MIA for quite a long time, as in measured in years.

Seriously, I just liked the wine and I had the time.

I'll try not to be a stranger as much as I have, or at least lurk less.

I remember this exact day 9 years ago. You've all done great things with this place from its humbled beginnings. You should all take a bow.

Thank You Sir, I think I was also at the first offline. It was in NYC (back when I was in NYC, my how time flies), like 5 - 6 people, small Spanish place right above the Village. Great Food, good wines.

There was actually a race to get one in the books and I forget what other city was trying to get one arranged before us.

Memory gets fuzzy.
