Seattle seafood restaurant recommendation near I5?

I’m flying up to Seattle tonight for work and am looking for someplace to get a nice dinner that is near I5 that we can hit on our way north. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Carl

I can’t help, but remember Wood’s theorum: QPR generally declines in direct proportion to how close a seafood restaurant is to the water.

Anchovies and Olives is fantastic. Tough reservation to get, but worth a try.

Waterfront Seafood Grill. Or Elliott’s Oyster House for Oysters prior to dinner at the Waterfront, it’s just up the way on Alaskan Way.

Tough, why? Not much of a seafood restaurant BTW.

Flying Fish is just off the freeway in the bustling South Lake Union area, where the New Amazon campus is. Only been once, but very good.

Tough because it’s popular, I guess. It’s not a traditional piece-of-fish place, but it’s definitely seafood. And delicious.

I’ve always enjoyed Etta’s. Nothing gourmet, just reasonably solid.

You might check out Seatown right in the market. Haven’t been yet but heard good things. It’s not “fine dining” though. I do like Waterfront quite a bit. But I only go there when I’m taking customers.

Shuckers is one of our favorites, particularly the halibut fish and chips - http://www.fairmont.com/seattle/GuestServices/Restaurants/Shuckers.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
