Sunday—not a clue.

The Wagyu Rib Caps just arrived…they are retarded marbled.

At some point I’m eating this bad boy.

Bob…did you kill a dinosaur?

Yup. I got laid off at the quarry and I had to be able to feed Wilma and the kids, so I slaughtered my backhoe.

Friday - Greek ( http://www.tavernaplakaatlanta.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )

Saturday - Dinner with Lando and Philip in the DFW (yea, im breaking in on that Bromance…but whatever, I’m slutty)

Sunday - No idea…maybe Sushi?

OK, I think we have the wines down…fill in the gaps boys: [drinkers.gif]

Lauren and I will be in Sonoma this weekend for the Barrel Tasting event!!

Tonight - leftover pasta, sausage and red sauce.

Saturday - Tasting menu at Syrah in Santa Rosa! [dance2.gif]

Sunday - We’ll have a late drive back home after helping Kathleen Inman pour all day, so probably In-N-Out or something…

just got mine today along with some hamachi and duck breast. Didn’t cehck to see if there are some scallops hiding with the hamachi. Hamachi tonight.

as is?

Don’t be silly! He’ll sprinkle some kosher salt on it first. Dah.

I had to check my calendar to see if it was March 14th already

Looks like Date Night at Chez Tex.

Thursday: coho salmon on the grill with grilled asparagus and grilled sweet potatoes. Finished the asparagus with my favorite balsamic and truffle salt.

2004 Roar SLH Pinot
2000 Martinelli Reserve Pinot
2004 Martinelli Moonshine Pinot

The 2004 Martinelli was very odd. And while I’d like to say an off bottle, I think the style of Martinelli is changing, and not for the better. It was a big, bold, bourbony pinot. I threw it into the decanter and it didn’t change. 1/2 the decanter sitting on the counter to revisit today or Saturday.

The 2000 Martinelli, in contrast, was beautiful pinot, exactly what you want.

No clue on the rest of the weekend but no doubt grilling every night. I’m saving some Flannery for next weekend when my local Flannery eating buddies are back in the country. Right now they are jumping out of airplanes, saving the good guys [notworthy.gif] , killing the bad guys [berserker.gif] and enjoying beautiful Afganistan. [dash1.gif]

You should see Mike eat an entire Porterhouse. [shock.gif]

Menage Brah is the correct terminology

Now that I see who is attending this dinner… I’m REALLY glad it isnt March 14
