My wife has requested some kind of lobster pasta (two of her favorite foods) for Mothers Day dinner. Seems pretty straightforward but wondering if anyone has any suggested recipes

No recipe, but lobster ravioli seems like an obvious choice.
I just saw a chef making some on an episode of Diners drive ins and dives.

Brandon's recipe is excellent.

If you are looking for something easier than whole live lobster, I buy the lobster tails from the Costco seafood weekend road show. I cut the raw meat into medallions and use it the way I would raw shrimp or scallops. I add it to seafood paella, use it in pasta sauce, sautee it, steam it, butter poach it or whatever.

Odd line to put in the recipe. [berserker.gif]
"If you don’t want to look at the live lobster as it boils, you are probably someone who likes to have sex with the light off. That’s okay."
