The wife and I are taking a long overdue trip to Willamette Valley.
Our schedule is fairly loose and we’re looking for places to eat, both formal and not, and maybe a place to get sandwiches and the like.

In McMinnville:
Casual - Valley Commissary, Pura Vida & Community
Dinner spots - Thistle, Bistro Maison, La Rambla & Nick’s
In Newberg: Ruddick/Wood, Recipe & Dos Mundos Food Cart
Martha’s Tacos in Lafayette for a palate cleansing lunch.
I don’t start my day without breakfast at Gonzalez Taqueria Y Panaderia on E. First in Newberg. Great for lunch too. Very reasonable. Excellent food.
I’ll add -
Lunch incl. sandwiches - Red Hills Market in Dundee
Dinner - Painted Lady in Newberg
I’m in agreement with all of the place that Scott and John mention.
A couple of other places to think about:
All for dinner,
Amity - The Blue Goat
McMinnville - Pizza Capo
Newberg - The Newbergunian Bistro and Subterra
Red Hills Kitchen in the Atticus Hotel
The 411
Tina’s
Disclaimer: all my accounts
We’ll be staying in the Atticus and dining there the first night.
Olympia Provisions anyone?
Heading out tomorrow.
Figured I’d give this a bump.
bump
