Berlin food reccos?

#1 Post by Faryan Amir-Ghassem¡ » July 9th, 2019, 7:06 pm

Would love recommendations for Berlin in late August.

Group of four guys, mid 30s, wine friendly but I’m the only wine nut. We lean hipster in our tastes (could provide analogous places in NY and Paris if that helps).

Thanks!

Several prior threads. Ernst is by far the most interesting place in town IMHO. But I suspect it will be sold out for your dates already.

Apologies my board search skills suffer. Any links to those prior threads?

First of all, there are so many great restaurants in Berlin these days and many more open weekly. So not easy to choose. I would like to recommend restaurants which defines the NEW Berlin.

ERNST

Nobelhart&Schmutzig

einsunternull

Mrs Robinson

tulus lotrek

and of course the Berlin matador TIM RAUE

ENJOY
Martin

P.S. Sorry for my late response but I was as you maybe already read on the countryside

P.S. P.S. I have no restaurant, I am only an amateur cook

And be prepared that these restaurants represent the true Berlin spirit. So nothing fancy regarding interiour&service and in stark contrast to *** restaurants in NY. Only the restaurant by Tim Raue represent classic style.

If these restaurants are too wild for you then you have to go to "Lorenz Adlon" in the Adlon Hotel with view to the Brandenburg Gate
