BEEF RENDANG

I was in the mood for a cozy&exotic braising dish, as we have now 18 C in Berlin in contrast to 38 C last week. In addition I knew I had some Rendang paste in my fridge.

Here comes an Indonesian classic......such delicious&such exotic&such sublime and such beefy. Fair to say based on a lot of spices, but at the end quite easy to make. My new favorite dish. The original version is more dry than my version. But I prefer a lot of sauce.

It makes me happy when you re-cook it and you are hopefully satisfied or even better it will warm your soul.

Shouldnt beef be shredded ?

You only need the Rendang paste and some lemongrass and kaffirlimes leaves. Shouldn't be a problem via Google and Asia shop.
