So I have tried Flannery Traditional & Adventurous now pure China-White straight, with just some flake sea salt.

Incredibly hedonistic burger but for me the fat content is a wee bit too high. I’m cutting the Kali Blend with some grass-fed, 7% Oregon ground.

Need safer product or I might get hooked.

You’re going to go into withdrawals, be careful how much you cut the stuff.

I have some Kali coming next week, with some tri tips. Should I start with a slider in case a full burger is too much?

Had the “regular” burger blend last week, outstanding.

Hangers this week. There really isn’t a better steak, forget the price.

After reading post after post about the hanger steak, I finally had my first hanger steak today. Grilled for about 9 minutes and wow. It was one of those experiences that made me pause for a minute to really enjoy what I was eating. It was as tender as a filet but more flavorful. Actually drank a glass of champagne with it this afternoon. I wish I hadn’t waited this long to finally try the hanger. Truly a memorable food experience and in this goofy covid time, a much needed positive experience.

I usually just dry rub with Santa Maria spices; they don’t need a marinade for tenderness.

I know this is too late, but for future reference, just salt and pepper is the go-to, BUT have used Nippon Shokken Yakuniku Sauce (available through Amazon). Marinated overnight and really tasty. Sometimes a change is nice once in a while.

Thanks for all the tips, I have plenty of hangers so will try a few more suggestions.
For tonight I used Andrew’s marinade (more or less), and it worked out really well.

Whoohoo!!! I like dry rubs, as well, but the kids love teriyaki. Hanger is thin enough that the teriyaki doesn’t really burn over direct heat, so it’s a good match. Glad you enjoyed!

I've gotten many Flannery deliveries... and yes, it is pretty much the only steak I eat at home. Just never had a tri tip. Got some Kali burgers coming too. And Hangers... always hangers.

Cooked my first tri tip tonight. Reverse sear. Oven at 275 to 115 degrees internal. Reached 120 while resting before hitting the cast iron. Maybe a minute or so a side. Real winner. Salted before cooking. Chimichurri on the side. Glad I bought 6 of them.

Cooked a Flannery rack of lamb tonight. Reverse sear. Phenomenal -- amazing depth of flavor and as good as anything they sell.

Flannery on the BGE. Tomahawk, Strips and a Ribeye. 230° indirect to 115°, crank it up and sear away.

Quite a recommendation there. Maybe we can talk Bryan into a Bday sale on rack of lamb?

If he logs in to flannerybeef.com and signs up for the mailing list he’ll get an email every time something goes on sale.

Just looked at the new site and saw - under HelluvaDeal - ribeye filets? Has anyone had these. I'm wanting to stock up the freezer in case of supply chain issues with something to just quick cook weekdays and the price is appealing.

Looks like a ribeye, minus the spinalis. I've seen it referred to as a Spencer steak locally, but feels like that might be a loose term based on a couple of quick searches.

How do you apply the discount on the new site? I see it on the home page listed as 20% off, but don't see a code or a discount when you get to the hanger page.

There's a space for a discount code on checkout but I did not see a code?

I don't do hangars since I sadly have no grill or space outside ... but will have a happy freezer of Flannery deals for the apocalypse.

Interesting. New site shows my orders, but only through 3/2017. Been a lot since.

Just looked at the new site and saw - under HelluvaDeal - ribeye filets? Has anyone had these. I'm wanting to stock up the freezer in case of supply chain issues with something to just quick cook weekdays and the price is appealing.
Hangers 20% off!
How do you apply the discount on the new site? I see it on the home page listed as 20% off, but don't see a code or a discount when you get to the hanger page.
The discount is automatically applied when you go to the cart.

Yea they always have a rib roast sale
When is that usually? Although my friend is probably looking for steaks for NYE (he's never had any Flannery).
Getting a rib roast and cutting it into steaks is easy and also slightly cheaper!
