The idea of sticking a temperature probe into something and have the oven automatically vary the temperature and shut itself off is appealing. But if it doesn't work reliably, what's the point?
I wonder if June sent Cook's Illustrated and America's Test Kitchen the ovens to review and some how gave it as kitchen gadget version of a Parker Bottle.
