Marrons Glaces?

Has anyone ever made their own? We have a great chestnut grower just outside of Bellingham, and I’ve loved these in Paris.

I will not be helpful in this but I wanted to say thanks for turning me on to a thing I never knew existed. Sounds yummy. I chuckled after checking out a couple recipes. It’s either a relatively time-consuming multi-hour exercise or a time-consuming 3-4 day exercise depending on the recipes I saw. Kudos to you for having the ambition to take it on.

They’re unique and incredible. I’ve had them in France and in Italy, but haven’t seen them here.
