Speaking of burgers...

Apparently after receiving a best burger in the US award the swarms of Instagram snapping tourists caused the staff to quit and the restaurant to close:

“Billions not served.”

I think the story is a bit overstated (#fakenews). It sounds like there were issues in the family that ran the restaurant, independent of any influx of foodie tourists. And if you go back and look at the Yelp reviews for this going back 10 years, there are plenty of 1 star reviews that raise questions about the service and management of the restaurant. It sound to me like it was living on borrowed time anyway. Only a dumbass would close a restaurant because it was too popular.

But at least the author is getting paid for a second article without having to eat any more hamburgers.

Just to be clear, there isn’t a single article on this topic that was worth reading. Pots calling kettles…they all need to retake Journalism 101 (which most of them probably never took anyway).
