Vancouver restaurants

We will be in Vancouver for a week in August.

We’re staying near Stanley Park and my in laws like to walk to dinnner. Any thoughts about solid food options?

We will have kids between 8 and 12. All well behaved but still kids

Thanks!

Scott

Hawksworth.

That looks perfect! Exactly what we need.

Keep the suggestions coming please

a few more:
L’Abbatoir (contemporary with french lean)
Le Crocodile (pure french)
West (contemporary)
CinCin (mediterranean/italian)
Cioppino’s (mediterranean/italian)

All good, I’d add St. Lawrence.

If you want to be near Stanly Park then definitely Tavola, if you want Italian farm to table.
There is also a great tapas place called Espana on Denman.

Walking to Hawksworth could be possible but West is around 5 miles away, lAbbatoit a bit closer and St Lawerence probably further.

It’s august. Vancouver = 80s. And beautiful. Sunlight until quite late.
West won’t work walking haha but most of the others is doable

Not too far to walk to Pidgin or Wildebeest

My wife and I walk a lot in that area. The OP mentioned Chilldren and parents. Just keeping it real.

Cioppino and Hawksworth would be easier to walk back from because if you drink wine your wallet will be considerably lighter.

You all are the best. Hawksworth and Tavola were killer and absolutely perfect.

As an aside we ended up eating Ramen for lunch at Marutama Ramen on Bidwell. We thought it was amazing. Perhaps the best Ramen I’ve had. Nice little space too.

Thanks again to all

Scott

I’m glad you liked Tavola. The lower end of Robson has great authentic Korean and Japanese food. They feed all of the ESL students and some locals. Ramen in this city may be the best in North America.

Glad u had a good time!
