Care to share more details? Hard to get the ingredients from the photos for a few of the dishes.

The additional photo was the blistered cherry tomato sauce, with olives, that ultimately went on top of the quickly sauteed calamari. The calamari/tomato sauce mixture then was plated on a bed
of lettuce, and garlic toast was placed on top after being dipped in the sauce.

Two paellas–chicken and chorizo, and seafood with shrimp and mussels. I wasn’t a huge fan of the mussels–they were a bit overcooked by the time the rest of that paella was done. The chicken and chorizo was a more successful dish.

Two desserts–a Natillas (sort of a custard) and wine-soaked orange slices. Both very, very good.

I like the idea of the wine soaked orange slices. Will try that.
I grew up with a family tradition of soaking slices of peaches in red wine. Will try with oranges. Thanks.
