Stay at the Alluvian. Giardina’s is located at the hotel and I recommend it. Delta Bistro Pub is a short distance from the hotel. Crystal Grill is also recommended. Wherever you decide to eat, make certain that you order fried dill pickles for an appetizer. Also, seek out the hot tamales at either the Crystal Grill or Steven’s Barbeque. Both dishes are as southern as fried catfish and every bit as tasty, if not more so.
