One web site’s opinion about the best pizza from each state (plus District of Columbia). I can support the Minnesota pick, but it’s hard to just pick one.
I’m not clicking thru 50+ pages to look for WA pizza. This format of a ‘list’ is just a way of increasing page views. Give me a single page. Rant over.
List from 2011 and edited annually but not updated. Two different ‘best’ pizzas come from now defunct restaurants.
Colorado does not make good pizza so it should be disqualified.
That one from Nebraska looked awful.

Michigan choice is not so great
People who think Beau Jo’s is good pizza get what they deserve!
I’ve been to only two of these, both choices were good, from California and Connecticut. Pepe’s from New Haven would get a lot of Berserkers’ votes, maybe as the best in the US, from what I’ve seen written here. There’s so much good pizza now, picking one favorite is like choosing a favorite wine.
Bizarre to say the least. I grew up in Farmington Hills and that place would not even be near my radar. Also, it’s IMO inappropriate for a list like that to pick something outside the unique regional specialty. That’s like picking a deep-dish (edit: or Neopolitan) as best in NY.
For California though, Piazziolo is a really strong choice.
AZ should be Bianco.
