Tomato soup en croûte, a la Bistro Jeanty

To make yesterday’s french onion soup, I had to buy a whole new set of bowls. Now I have to convince my husband that those bowls will earn their keep in our already-crowded cupboards by using them a second time. Has anyone made tomato soup en croûte, like the one at Bistro Jeanty? That was my favorite bowl of soup ever. I see some recipes online, but I’d rather make one that someone here has tried and loved.
